At KCKCC it is the student’s responsibility to pay in full tuition and any other fees on the student account by setting up a payment plan or applying for financial assistance prior to the beginning of each semester.

If no payment arrangements are made, the student will not be able to enroll in future semester courses, view grades, or receive a final transcript.

**KCKCC has partnered with Nelnet to provide student account payment services. This includes the ability to make payments by bank account, credit/debit card, 529 Plan, or foreign currency.

Payment Plan

  1. Login to Self Service as a current student
  2. Under Financial Information
    1. Select “Payment Plans”
  3. Important things to know about Payment Plans:
    1. There is a $30.00 non-refundable enrollment fee.
    2. Fall & Summer payment plans are available on April 1.
    3. Spring payment plans are available on November 1.
    4. Payments are due on the 10th of every month. The balance owed is divided by the number of payments to be made based on term and adjusted throughout the term as financial aid and other payments are made.
    5. Missed payments will result in a $10.00 late fee. Payments are reprocessed once and if the late payment fails, the payment plan will be terminated.
      1. Each student is given a schedule for their payment plan before agreeing to the payment plan.
      2. Please note: the later a student enrolls in a payment plan, the larger the payments will be each month.

 Summer Payment Plans are split into two (2) payments and are open for enrollment until May 31, 2024.

Federal Financial Aid Campus Scholarships or Third-Party Sponsorship

Please verify with the Financial Aid Office that you have completed your file and are eligible for financial aid.

Outside Scholarships

If you have received a scholarship, please submit your scholarship check to the Business Office to be applied to your student account.

Third Party Sponsorship 

Forms/authorizations should be turned into the Business Office (suite 3260, Main Campus), as soon as possible to ensure your position in class. These forms may also be emailed to kcecil@kckcc.edu.  

Agencies or organizations requiring course completion or proof of grades before they authorize payment are considered tuition reimbursement programs.

  • Tuition reimbursement programs do not qualify for the third-party billing process.
  • Students participating in tuition reimbursement programs are responsible to make their own payment arrangements, according to the KCKCC tuition payment policy, and seek reimbursement directly from their sponsoring agency or organization.
