Application Requirements
Step 2: Submit government issued evidence of your immigrant or FAS status
- Immigrants
- Permanent Resident
- Color copy of the front and back of your Permanent Resident card (‘Green Card’)
OR
- Color copy of the Immigrant Visa stamp in your passport with an “Upon endorsement serves as temporary I-551 evidencing Permanent Residence for 1 year” annotation at the bottom and a color copy of the Admission Stamp in your passport
- Color copy of the front and back of your Permanent Resident card (‘Green Card’)
- Refugee
- Color copy of the U.S. Department of State admission approval letter with Customs and Border Protection’s Refugee Admission Stamp
- Asylee
- Color copy of your I-797 Approval Notice granting Asylum
OR
- Color copy of the immigration judge’s orders showing that you were granted Asylum
- Color copy of your I-797 Approval Notice granting Asylum
- Permanent Resident
- Citizens of the Freely Associated States (FAS)
- Color copy of the biographical page of your passport
Step 3: Submit Transcripts
Submit official high school / secondary school transcripts In the native language and accompanied by an official English translation.
Step 4: Submit Graduation / Exam Certificate
Submit official secondary school Leaving/Graduation/National Exam Certificate. In the native language and accompanied by an official English translation.

Official West African Secondary School Certificate Examination results (WASSCE) must be submitted directly the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) directly to Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Information about Kenya
Official Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Statement Examination Results MUST be submitted directly from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) directly to Kansas City Kansas Community College.

- All application materials and documents submitted for admission to Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) become the property of KCKCC; these materials and documents cannot be returned to the applicant.
- Application requirements cannot be waived.
