Criminal Justice Department

The Kansas City Kansas Community College’s Criminal Justice Program has been in existence since 1968, and was one of the first such programs of its type in the metropolitan area.  The history of the program has always been built around providing quality, practical, and affordable education to full and part-time students that are either already employed in the criminal justice field or, are seeking to gain employment as a criminal justice professional.  The program is geared toward assisting area law enforcement partners in offering quality and practical educational and professional development courses to their respective personnel and, it strives to provide a stress-free learning environment that ties in seamlessly with a students’ school and work schedules.
