Purpose Statement

The purpose of this policy is to honor former and current College Presidents upon their passing.

Policy Statement

Upon the death of a former or current Kansas City Kansas Community College President, the chairperson of the Board of Trustees may direct the closing of the College during the day and time of the official
funeral observances for the deceased, and allowing appropriate time to travel to and from the location of the services.
