Enrollment for Membership
The Wellness and Fitness Center (WFC) is open to current KCKCC students, employees, and members of the surrounding community.
- There are different categories of membership.
- Each participant is required to complete a Consent and Release Form. Consent forms must be updated once per year.
- Registration must be completed in person at the WFC. Unfortunately, online registration is not available at this time.
KCKCC Student ID
All members are required to bring their KCKCC student ID every time working out at the WFC.
- Student IDs are issued in the Admissions Office, upper-level Jewell Building, room 3307 or call 913-288-7600.
- A current government issued photo ID is required to receive a student ID.
Orientation and Fitness Screening
All new members enrolled in the WFC are required to complete the Consent and Release form and have their heart rate and blood pressure taken. Males over the age of 45, females over the age of 55 or those with medical issues, need to bring a doctor’s release in order to exercise. Following the fitness screening and the classroom part of the orientation, members are given a tour of the facility.
- Orientations are scheduled at the WFC front desk.
- Doctors’ consent forms can be mailed, hand-delivered or faxed to the WFC.
Parking
Parking stickers are free of charge for members enrolled in a fitness class. Parking is available in front of the WFC, the Continuing Education Building lot and the child care lot. Parking is not permitted in the parking lot behind the credit union (they do tow cars).
- Parking stickers are issued in the Admissions Office, upper-level Jewell Building, room 3307.
- Parking stickers must be displayed on a visible location to avoid a possible violation.
- Issues related to parking are handled in the KCKCC Police, room 3462 or call 913-288-7636.
