Apply for Admission
- Interested students should apply for admission to KCKCC.
- Complete placement testing, if required.
- Accuplacer scores for English Composition, Speech, Psychology, and Intro to Literature will require an Accuplacer score of 255 in reading and writing or a 3.0 with a grade of "B" or better in English 2 or better.
- Accuplacer in Math 263+ or GPA (Grade Point Average) 3.5 and a C or higher in Algebra II within the last 3 years.
- Students may take up to 12 credit hours per semester. Anything above 12 credit hours will require an overload letter from the high school partner.
- Dual courses, taught by an adjunct professor, must have a minimum of 10 students.

Find Courses
- Students meet with their counselor or high school college liaison to discuss course selection.
- Create or change single sign-on.
- Log in with your KCKCC credentials.
- Go to the Self-Service's course catalog.
- From the search page use the filter to narrow your search based on location, availability, terms, and time of day.

Submit Documentation
- Complete a dual/concurrent enrollment form academic course or TEC.
- Double-check the KCKCC ID.
- Double-check the course and section number or program title for TEC.
- Be sure all parties have signed and dated the form.
- Rename all forms by Student First Name_Last Name_KCKCC ID. Do Not Merge the files.
- Submit academic forms to: academichsp@kckcc.edu
- Submit TEC forms to: techspartnership@kckcc.edu
- All forms must have a physical signature from the student, parent, and school official.
- Forms will be processed. If there are any issues, the HSP team will work with our secondary partners to resolve them.

Complete Enrollment in Classes
- Students complete and submit a free admissions application to Kansas City Kansas Community College found online at kckcc.edu. High school students should complete the high school admission application.
- The student's KCKCC ID number is emailed to the address listed on the student's admissions application along with instructions on how to log into Self-Service.
- Student completes the Accuplacer and/or ACT placement test.
- All high school students must complete the Concurrent/Dual enrollment form or TEC the TEC Dual Enrollment form and submit it to the High School Counselor. Fill this form out completely.
- The form is forwarded to the KCKCC High School Partnership Team or KCKCC TEC Advisor.
- The High School Partnership Team verifies student admission and minimum placement test scores and enrolls a student in the courses indicated on the form.
- High School Counselors are notified of any issues preventing enrollment and work with KCKCC to resolve the issues.
- Once the student is enrolled, they may get a KCKCC photo ID.
