The AA in Pre-Social Work is an Associates of Arts program designed to prepare the student for transfer into a four year BSW program.
A degree in social work can lead to employment in state and community based agencies such as schools, Division of Family Services, Youth Services, etc.
There are numerous sources of funding to assist students in meeting the cost of education. The student financial aid program at KCKCC helps students access funding sources, which can be used to pay for tuition, books, fees, and living expenses while they pursue an educational degree.
