Student Veterans Organization

Transitioning from military life to higher education can present veterans with a set of challenges that may be similar to other students but are also unique for each student veteran. KCKCC student vetreans decided to create the Student Veterans Organization (SVO) to also assist with veterans’ needs while going through the higher education experience.

The purpose of the SVO is ­to foster camaraderie between veterans, service members, spouse/dependents and supporters attending KCKCC, encourage academic success, demonstrate leadership skills, ensure that veterans and service members are aware of all available resources and to empower and support military-connected students to be successful in their endeavors to improve themselves through higher education at KCKCC.

Membership is open to all students, dependents and those who have a desire to be a member.
