Welcome Guide

Each student has a mailbox near the main entrance to the building.

• Mail is delivered to your mailbox Monday through Saturday via USPS.
• Check your mail regularly.
• If you receive a package from another delivery service (i.e. Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc.) it will be secured at Centeniall Hall front desk and you are notified at your KCKCC email. Please bring your ID to the desk to retrieve your package.

We hope that everything is functioning as it should in your apartment, but if you find something that needs addressed, please submit a Maintenance Request via the Student Housing portal.

• The facilities staff will be notified and work is typically completed within 1-2 business days.
• If you have an emergency request, please notify the RA on-call immediately.

• Parking for Centennial Hall residents is preferred in the lot to the northwest of Centennial Hall.
• A student parking sticker can be obtained from the Student Housing front desk at check-in.
• Please remember to use the designated crosswalk when returning to Centennial Hall.

Prior to your arrival, the staff of Centennial Hall documented any previously existing damage to your room on your room condition report. You can see this report on the Student Housing portal. Please notify staff within 5 days of your arrival if you notice any damage that is not documented on the report.

Our campus offers an on-campus police department, electronic card access entry system, and peepholes on every apartment door. However, we expect students to understand that the safety and security of Centennial Hall depends in part on the students' own actions. Residents are asked to watch out for and protect their "home away from home" and the members of their community.

All exterior entry doors are only accessible by residents using their access card. Allowing someone to enter behind you without using an access card or being escorted by another resident should be actively discouraged by all residents. Students should ensure their apartment and bedroom doors are locked at all times. Never loan your key or access card to someone else.

On-campus residents can connect to the campus network titled "KCKCC-wifi" and login using their KCKCC email address and password. For devices that are unable to login (like Smart TVs,) use the network titled "KCKCC-CH."

Each resident has an Ethernet jack in their bedroom. We recommend a wired connection for your best streaming/gaming experience.
