Spring 2026 Move-In Day
Need to Know
- Check in times are between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Every resident must sign up for a move-in appointment. Appointments open in mid-July.
- Please be sure to bring your KCKCC ID (or a photo identification) to your check-in appointment. We verify identities before checking out room keys.
To-Do Items
Prior to moving in, all residents must complete the following forms on the Student Housing Portal
- Background Check
- Student Health Summary
- Tuberculosis Screening and Immunization
- Alcohol and Drug Education
Sign Up For a Check-in Time
Move-in day can be hectic and busy! We aim to make your move-in as smooth as possible. To help manage the number of people arriving at one time, we ask that students sign up for a check-in time.
If you arrive outside the designated appointment time, contact the RA on-call. No check-ins occur after 10 p.m. on any day to be respectful to roommates and staff members.
If you are part of a sports team that is approved for an earlier move-in, contact your coach for more details.
Unloading Tips
- Stop your car curbside at Centennial Hall to drop off your belongings. Then park your car in the lot to the northwest of Centennial Hall.
- Maximum time to unload is 15 minutes.
- Families and other guests helping their student should park in the lot to the north of Centennial Hall.
