Kansas City Kansas Community College has named Robert Walker, MBA as its new Chief Information Officer. He began Oct. 7 and brings more than 25 years in technology leadership.
“KCKCC is happy to welcome Robert to the Blue Devil family,” said Vice President of Finance and Operations Patrick Schulte. “He brings extensive experience as a technology consultant and higher education CIO. His depth of experience and understanding of information technology in the higher education world is a great asset for KCKCC.”
Walker brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology leadership. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of Technology Services and CIO for Ellucian. He has also served as Vice President of Technology at Arizona Western College and as CIO at Grantham University and Concorde Career College.
Walker earned his MBA in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Science from Franciscan University.
