KCKCC is pleased to welcome Dr. Tom Corti's as the interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management. He began Sept. 3 and his appointment will ensure continuity and excellence in student services during this transitional period. He has exceptional experience leading student affairs and enrollment management and an open leadership style that focuses on collaboration, enhancing services and fostering excellence through innovation.
Corti has more than 20 years’ experience serving as a vice president and vice chancellor of student affairs and student services. He has served as vice president at progressively larger institutions such as the University of Houston, Texas A&M University, University of North Carolina and State University of New York (SUNY). He earned his doctor of philosophy in diplomatic history and master of arts research in history from St. Louis University. He also has a bachelor of arts in history and political science from the University of Portland.
After retiring, Corti has served as interim vice presidents for multiple institutions across the country through The Registry. The Registry helps colleges and universities with experienced interim leaders during periods of transition. As interim vice president at KCKCC, he will bring valuable expertise to evaluate the division's current strengths, structure and opportunities to help develop a roadmap for future initiatives and bolster the college’s efforts in providing exemplary service to students.
