The Kansas City Kansas Community College Writing Center and the KCKCC Writing Club are celebrating National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) with several activities in the next two weeks.
Throughout the month of November, students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, brainstorm, share work and have conversations focused on writing. All events and activities will be in the Learning Commons and via Zoom (Meeting ID: 953 553 1592). Upcoming activities include:
NaNoWriMo is an organization that challenges participants to write 50,000 words of a novel during the month of November. Writers are encouraged to write as much as possible.
All participants are encouraged to submit portions of their NaNoWriMo novel to KCKCC’s student literary magazine, Scenic Route. The deadline is Feb. 1, 2022.
