Veteran Affairs National Campaign, "I am not invisible," Coming to KCKCC

The KCKCC Veterans Center and the KCKCC Art Gallery are thrilled to announce that the Veteran Affairs National Campaign entitled “I am not invisible” is coming to KCKCC on April 8. This exclusive opportunity is for women veterans that served in the military.  Students, staff, faculty and members of the community that are women veterans are highly encouraged to participate and have her photograph taken. The photos will be taken in the Art Gallery from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Lower Jewell on the KCKCC Main Campus. Some of the photographs will be used for a display in the Art Gallery in November.

There is approximately 2 million women veterans in the United States, and this is an opportunity to spotlight the many faces of this diverse and fast growing population of the veteran community. Any female veteran that is interested in having her photograph professionally taken, please RSVP to asigmon@kckcc.edu or call 913-288-7593.
