We offer a wide range of programs that include specialized career and technical education, professional and corporate development, community and youth activities and more. Our variety of specialized programs ensure there is something for everyone.

Online Career Certificate Programs

Online Career Certificate Programs are short-term courses designed to prepare individuals to receive certificate needed for licensing. These programs are offered on-line through Ed2Go and currently include: Medical Billing & Coding, Pharmacy Technician and Phlebotomy Technician, along with many more.  Find more information on these programs at https://www.ed2go.com/kckcc/.

Community Education Non-Credit Programs

Community Education classes and workshops are designed for individuals with special interests. Options include programs in the area of personal wellness, hobbies, music, business, finance and personal growth.  These programs are open to people ages 17 and older (unless otherwise specified). Class offerings are updated regularly and individuals are encouraged to make requests or suggestions for program ideas.

Motorcycle Rider Course

KCKCC Basic Rider Courses (BRC) are given weekly March thru October for both two-wheel and three-wheel motorcycles. These classes teach the basic skills necessary to operate a motorcycle safely. Classes are 20 hours in length and successful completion is rewarded with a certificate of completion to obtain their motorcycle endorsement. Non-Kansas Residents: Please check with your DMV on endorsement qualifications.

Three-wheel motorcycles currently in use are assorted Can-Am Spyders. Note these classes are held rain or shine.  A valid driver’s license is required to take these classes.

Higher level classes are also given periodically to improve skill levels from novices thru experienced riders.
