We offer a wide range of programs that include specialized career and technical education, professional and corporate development, youth activities and more. Our variety of specialized programs ensure there is something for everyone.

Career Certificate Programs

Career Certificate Programs are short-term courses designed to prepare individuals to receive certificate needed for licensing. These programs currently include: Activity Director, Social Service Designee, Pre- and Post- Real Estate Licensure, Medical Coding, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technical, Appraisal Pre-Licensure, Home Inspection, and EKG Technician. Various online certificates are available through Gatlin Educational Services.

Online Learning

Whether you're looking to advance your career, touch up on skills, or learn something new, Continuing Education offers a large selection of fun, informative, and affordable online courses.

The VIP Club

The VIP club (replacing the Prime Time Club) is designed to provide citizens of Wyandotte and Leavenworth counties ages 18+ with a variety of free and low cost activities. These activities include cultural events, special trips, informational seminars, and academic and leisure opportunities. Contact 913-288-7660 for membership information.

Motorcycle Rider Course

KCKCC Basic rider courses (BRC) are given weekly March thru October for both 2 wheel and 3 wheel motorcycles, these classes teach the Basic skills necessary to operate a mmotorcycle safely, Classes are 20 hours in length and successful completion is rewarded with certificates to obtain their motorcycle endorsement. 3 Wheel motorcycles currently in use are assorted Can-Am Spyders and Rikers manufactured by BRP.

Prerequisites include, age 15 to 18 require a parents permission, and ability to ride a bicycle for the two wheel classes.

Note these classes are held rain or shine.

Higher level classes are also given periodically to improve skill levels from novices thru experienced Sportbike riders. All classes can be accessed at the KCKCC web site under Continuing Education.
