Important Information

  • International students are not eligible for admission to the Summer Semester.
  • International students are not eligible for admission to the Second 8-Week Term of the Fall or Spring Semesters.
  • All application requirements must be submitted prior to the deadlines listed above.
  • Application deadlines are the last possible day to submit a complete application packet.
  • Deadlines are not flexible or negotiable.
  • Incomplete applications will not be reviewed or considered.

Step 2: Pay Application Fee


 The application fee is $85.

  • Payable directly to KCKCC’s Business Office via telephone at 1-913-288-7620 using your credit/debit/bank card
    • Application and document review and processing will NOT begin until AFTER the $85.00 application fee has been paid

Step 3: Submit Transcript


Submit official secondary school transcripts/mark sheets. In the native language and accompanied by an official English translation.

Step 4: Submit Graduation / Exam Certificate


Submit official secondary school Leaving/Graduation/National Exam Certificate. In the native language and accompanied by an official English translation.

Applicants from:

  • Gambia
  • Ghana
  • Liberia
  • Nigeria
  • Sierra Leone

Official West African Secondary School Certificate Examination results (WASSCE) must be submitted directly the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) directly to Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Information about Kenya

Official Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) Statement Examination Results MUST be submitted directly from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) directly to Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Step 5: Submit Official English Language Test Scores


TOEFL Scores

Official TOEFL Scores must be submitted directly from ETS (Educational Testing Service) to Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Step 7: Submit Affidavit of Support


Print the Affidavit of Support form to give to your financial sponsor

  • Required from each financial sponsor who submitted a Bank Statement or Bank Letter
  • Must be notarized or attested

Step 8: Submit Color Passport Copy

Approval for Study / Site of Instruction

Approval by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is required for each program of study and site of instruction in order for the program to enroll international students.

Currently, KCKCC is NOT able to issue Forms I-20 for the following programs:

  • Construction Technology
  • Cosmetology
  • Computer Support Specialist
  • Electrical Technology
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

  • Major Appliance Repair
  • Multimedia Video Production
  • Networking Technology
  • Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Welding Technology

 Additional Information

  • Some courses may require fees in addition to the tuition and fees cost listed above; these fees are listed in the class schedule each semester.
  • The KCKCC Board of Trustees has the right to change tuition and fee costs without notice.
  • Tuition and fees must be paid at the time of enrollment.
