This is a highly structured program which prepares students to take the Kansas Board of Cosmetology written and performance exam required before a graduate can become a licensed cosmetologist. Enrollees must have a government-issued photo identification card. Students must purchase uniforms, textbooks, and cosmetology kit. A Kansas Board of Cosmetology testing fee is also required. Students must be high school graduates or have a GED before they are eligible to take the Kansas Board of Cosmetology exam.
