The Physical Therapist Assistant program, in accordance with the mission of Kansas City Kansas Community College, is dedicated to providing a student learning environment that will enhance and assess knowledge, clinical skills, and professional behaviors necessary for completion of the national board examination and successful practice as a PTA as outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association’s Guide for the Conduct of the Physical Therapist Assistant and Values – Based Behaviors for the Physical Therapist Assistant.

Requirements for admission to the program:                                    

  • This is a selective admission program. Application to the program does not constitute admission. 
  • Minimum 2.75 GPA in program required courses and completion of pre-requisites (* below).
  • Application deadline is April 15 for Fall start and October 15 for Spring start.
  • Contact program for application, full requirements and program-specific advising.
