The Paramedic Program will incorporate a variety of teaching strategies and learning opportunities for participants including but not limited to lectures, skill training sessions, demonstrations, simulated patient scenarios, hospital clinical experience, field internship experience, and computer-enhanced opportunities. The purpose of the training program is to provide the participant with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively function as a certified Paramedic. Participants in the program are expected to develop competencies in Cognitive Skills, Psychomotor Skills, and in the Affective Domain.
DUE TO KANSAS BOARD OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES REQUIREMENTS, NO LATE ENROLLMENT IS ALLOWED AND FIRST DAY ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY.
