Kansas City Kansas Community College's Digital Imaging Design vocational program leads to an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Digital Imaging.  This degree is designed to prepare students for a career in the field of computer based graphic design.  The Digital Imaging Design program is a comprehensive practical course of study which provides the up-to-date and latest technology training in the field of digital graphics.

The Digital Imaging Design program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to the layout, design, and typographic arrangement of printed and/or electronic software; digital imaging; print preparation; page layout and design; desktop publishing; and applicable principles of graphic design for print as well as interactive media and web page design.

The Digital Imaging Design program is a vocational program using the latest technology and facilities to instruct learners in the most current methods, technology, and practices in graphic image design for print, multimedia, and the web.  The graduates of this program will have an Associate in Applied Science degree which will enable them to obtain Graphic Design positions in the advertising, marketing, web, publishing, printing, and sign making industries.
