Presented by Tamara Agha-Jaffar, Ph.D., will explore the power and resonance of women’s voices in ancient myths. Through her novels, she retells the story of three well-known myths from the perspective of the women characters, fleshing out their stories, and demonstrating the continued relevance of the universal truths they tell.
Agha-Jaffar is a former KCKCC dean of Humanities & Fine Arts and vice-president of Academic Affairs.
Co-hosted by Women & Gender Advocacy, Counseling & Advocacy Center, Women’s Studies and the Center for Equity, Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement.
