Rental Rates

Refundable Deposit

50% of Hourly Rate
There is a refundable damage deposit of 50% of the hourly rate total. The deposit is refunded if the venue is not damaged and/or if college policies have not been violated (e.g., smoking on campus, alcohol on campus, etc.).

Nonexpendable Fee

$75
All spaces rented require a nonexpendable $75 administrative fee.

Mary Ann Flunder Lodge by the Lake $50/hour (3 hour minimum)

$25/hour (3 hour minimum) for WYCO residents, WYCO organizations that do not charge for their event, and KCKCC employees
Upper or Lower Jewell $100/hour (3 hour minimum)
Performing Arts Center $100/hour (3 hour minimum)
Soccer Field and Track $125/hour for practice or games
Baseball or Softball Fields $125/hour for practice or games

$75/hour for cages or work areas only
Field House (Gymnasium) $125/hour (3 hour minimum)
TEC Multipurpose Rooms A101 $100/hour (3 hour minimum) for Monday - Friday

$200/hour (3 hour minimum) for Saturday - Sunday
Main Campus Meeting Rooms
(capacity < 60 people)
$40 an hour

Cancellation Policy

Notification of space cancellation by the requestor must be communicated to the Events and Scheduling Office.

Refunds

Event cancellation notifications are required 30 days before an event to receive 100% of the fees paid.
  • Cancellation is within 29 days - 33 1/3% of the usage fee is retained by the college.
  • Cancellation of less than 15 days - 50% of the fee is retained.
  • Cancellation of less than 10 days - KCKCC retains the full fee.

KCKCC administration reserves the right to cancel an event if unforeseen circumstances arise (i.e., power outage, natural disasters, accessibility).

Fee Waivers

KCKCC is committed to serving our community in many ways. Wyandotte County residents, non-profits and businesses are encouraged and welcomed to use our facilities and apply for a fee waiver.

Please note that while fees are often waived, direct costs such as staff time and deposits are rarely waived. Full fee waivers are rarely granted for performance and athletic facilities.

Fee waiver requests should be submitted at least 30 days before the event whenever possible. Requests submitted less than 30 days before the event are not guaranteed to be approved. Fees are waived at the college's discretion and may be declined for various reasons. 

Applying for Fee Waivers

To apply for a fee waiver, submit the KCKCC Waiver Request Form only after you have received an invoice from the Events and Scheduling Office. You need the reservation number found on your invoice to complete the waiver form. (Invoices are sent after the Community Venue and Facility Usage Request Form is received and reviewed by Events and Scheduling.) 

Fee Waiver Amounts

When granting fee waivers, the college considers the type of organization, the cost of attending the event, and the organization's location. 

100% Fee Waiver Qualifications

  • Wyandotte County non-profit organizations that are not charging any fees or sponsorships
  • Educational and other KCKCC institutional partners

75% Fees Waived

  • Wyandotte County residents who host events that do not charge any fees or sponsorships
  • Employees who host events that do not charge fees or sponsorships
  • Wyandotte County non-profit organizations that charge fees or sponsorships
  • Non-profit organizations outside of Wyandotte County that do not charge fees or sponsorships

  • Wyandotte County residents who host events that charge fees or sponsorships
  • Employees who host events that charge fees or sponsorships
