Kids on Campus Financial Assistance

At Kids on Campus, every child has the opportunity to participate in an enriching summer camp experience. Limited financial assistance is available to eligible families to help make summer camp more accessible.

For families selected to receive financial assistance, 100% of the camp tuition is covered.

Available Camp Sessions

Families may apply for full financial assistance for one or more of the following summer camp sessions:

• Camp Session 1: June 7 – 17
• Camp Session 2: June 21 – July 1
• Camp Session 3: July 6 – 15

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed after the application deadline. Selection are based on:

• Eligibility and completion of the application
• Demonstrated financial need
• Available program funding

If the number of eligible applicants exceeds available funding, priority is given to applicants demonstrating the greatest financial need.

Guidelines

• Applicants must have a Wyandotte County mailing address.
  • KCKCC employees are not eligible for the financial assistance program.
• Financial assistance is available to a limited number of campers and is based on demonstrated financial need and available funding.
• Financial assistance is not guaranteed, and awards are limited.
• Families may request assistance for more than one session and for more than one child.

• Financial assistance awards are non-transferable and may only be used for the child and camp session(s) for which the award is granted.
• Recipients are expected to attend the camp session(s) for which they receive financial assistance. Excessive absences may affect eligibility for future financial assistance opportunities.
• Campers receiving financial assistance are expected to demonstrate respectful behavior, follow all camp rules and policies, and contribute positively to the camp environment.
• Failure to comply with camp expectations may result in removal from camp and/or loss of eligibility for future financial assistance.
