Technology Overview for New Employees

Welcome to the Blue Devil Team

Congratulations on accepting the position with KCKCC.

New employees receive their KCKCC email address in an email from KCKCC Technical Support to their personal email account (the one used to fill out the application for employment). In a separate email, the new employee receives an initial password. This initial password is used while signing into Self Service for the first time. 

Upon signing in for the first time, employees are asked to establish a permanent password. Employees follow the prompts on Self Service Password Reset and provide information, such as a mobile phone, personal email address, and/or security questions. 

Employees use their KCKCC email address to login to almost all KCKCC services via Self-Service.
 
Important to Note: A few services require employees to login with their user ID. The employee's user ID is their employee ID number. Only these systems require the Employee User ID (employee ID number) to log into. The rest use the employee's email address.

Whether logging in with the Employee User ID Number or the Employee Email Address, the employee uses the same password.
