Posting Job and Internship Opportunities
Via Handshake
Employers can post part-time, full-time, internship positions, and events for KCKCC students and alumni on Handshake. Handshake gives employers the ability to message directly with candidates. This step-by-step guide is for a creating an account with additional employees within the main employer account.
Via Career Services
Career services can promote opportunities and events to specific programs/majors, student groups and faculty after they are posted. Employers need to email career services which programs/areas they want to connect with.
Career services can also help organizations with their key hiriing priorities and initiatives (i.e. Military Friendly status, etc.).
Career services works with employers to develop internship opportunities that allow students to earn academic credit while they gain experience.
Career Exploration
Career services works with employer partners who are willing to talk with students (informational phone calls, possible job shadowing, etc.) to help them explore different career paths. All organizations are encouraged to be a part of this program.
Career Fairs and Other Events
KCKCC hosts various career fairs, networking events and mock interviewing events throughout the year. Invitations and information are sent to registered Handshake employers.
Recruiting Tables
Employers are encouraged to set up recruiting/info tables on campus. Career serves is happy to place organizations in the best spots on campus!
On-Campus Interviews
Employers can request campus interview days on Handshake, and career services can help plan and promote on campus.
Social Media Content
Career services will share any organization photos, videos or other social media content centered around careers, employment, internships or related areas. Make sure to include the social media account info so career services can tag the business!

- Join the Kansas Association of Colleges and Employers (KACE) and collaborate with the employers and career services personnel in Kansas who work with college relations, recruitment, cooperative education, internships and career planning and development.
