Register Now for the 2026 Blue Devil 5K

Kansas City Kansas Community College invites the community to lace up their running and walking shoes for a campus tradition as the Blue Devil 5K Run/Walk returns this spring.

The Blue Devil 5K will begin at 8 a.m. May 2 in the parking lot of the Health Professions Building on the KCKCC campus. The course winds throughout campus along roadways, walking paths and sidewalks, offering a scenic and supportive environment for participants of all fitness levels.

Registration for the 5K includes a commemorative T-shirt, finisher’s medal, goodie bag and an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast following the event.

Registration fees are:

$20 through April 19
$25 from April 20 to 30
$30 from May 1 to 2

Participants are encouraged to run or walk according to their ability level. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers. In addition, first-place finishers in each age group will receive an award.

Registration can be completed online, and each participant must complete an individual entry form. Participants may also register in person with cash or check at the KCKCC Wellness & Fitness Center to avoid the online service fee.
