The Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) Board of Trustees has placed KCKCC President Dr. Greg Mosier on paid administrative leave, effective immediately.
The Board has designated Dr. Scott Balog, Executive Vice President, to serve as acting President to ensure continuity of operations and uninterrupted service to students, employees, and the community.
“Kansas City, Kansas Community College continues to focus on providing quality education to students through academic excellence and community outreach,” said KCKCC Board Chair Linda Hoskins Sutton. “The Board of Trustees has confidence that Dr. Balog will provide strong leadership for KCKCC and those we serve.”
Because this is a personnel matter, the College may not provide additional detail at this time. KCKCC will share updates when appropriate and consistent with applicable legal and privacy requirements.
By unanimous vote, the Board of Trustees acted during a Special Meeting held at 5 p.m. on February 24, 2026.
