A new MyDotte is coming to KCKCC in just a few weeks. The site will offer direct access to Self-Service, Microsoft Office Apps and a variety of other information, all with a single sign-on. Once employees and students are in the new MyDotte, they will have access to all of their KCKCC information in one place.
The shift to a new MyDotte is part of the college’s Ellucian Colleague Service moving from on premises to the cloud version of Colleague. The implementation of Colleague SaaS aligns KCKCC's strategic plan with its technology systems, creating more efficient processes across the entire campus. The new SIS will enhance institutional operations by streamlining administrative tasks through automation, significantly reducing time-consuming manual processes. These improvements will enable KCKCC to decrease student acceptance time from weeks to minutes and provide each learner with a personalized, clear path to successful completion, improving retention.
The new MyDotte will simply everyday tasks by giving users essential information quickly without having to go to different websites. The homepage will also be customizable so that users can include information and tabs relevant to them. The legacy MyDotte will continue to be accessible through the new site until the changeover is complete later this year.
