In collaboration with the National Center for Apprenticeship Degrees & the Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeships, Dr. Jack Henderson, executive director of Workforce Innovation, recently convened faculty from more than five KCKCC academic programs for a two-day strategic planning session focused on embedding apprenticeships into high-demand degree pathways.
Over the coming year, participating faculty will partner with Henderson and the Workforce Innovation team to build robust employer partnerships, expand apprenticeship-based degree offerings and increase student enrollment and persistence through innovative work-based learning models.
