KCKCC President Dr. Greg Mosier was recently recognized as the recipient of the 2025 National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) District 5 Pacesetter Award.

NCMPR, an organization that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges, presents the Pacesetter Award in each of its seven districts every year. The award is given to a community college chief executive who has demonstrated special leadership and support of college communications and marketing. District 5 includes community, technical and junior colleges in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Mosier, who has been president of KCKCC since 2018, was recognized earlier this month during the District 5 Conference in Kansas City where he also made a presentation on workforce development. He is now one of seven finalists for the national Pacesetter Award, which will be presented in March 2026 as part of NCMPR’s national conference in Washington D.C.
