KCKCC to Host HUSTLE Summer Experience

Kansas City Kansas Community College is hosting the HUSTLE (Hands-On Understanding of Skills, Trade, Leadership and Experience) Summer experience in June.

The program is being held in two sessions – June 2-13 and June 16-27. Both sessions are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and are on the KCKCC Main Campus, 7250 State Ave.

HUSTLE is a dynamic and hands-on college/career readiness program for ninth through 12th grade students as well as recent graduates. This immersive four-week college and career readiness program is designed for participants to dive into high-demand career pathways, earn college credit and gain real-world experience that sets them apart. Students will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes with workplace tours of local employers, receive mentoring and guidance from industry professionals and gain skills that will help them succeed in college, careers and beyond.

Transportation is available from three locations in Kansas City, Kan. – the South Branch of the Mid-Continent Library, Sumner Academy and the KCKPS Central Office and Training Center.
