Did you know April is Community College Awareness Month?! KCKCC has been celebrating this week with giveaways at all three of our locations - main campus, KCKCC-TEC and the Pioneer Career Center. Students, faculty and staff had the opportunity to stop by, grab a snack and get some KCKCC items.
Each April, community colleges throughout the U.S. celebrates and recognizes the role community colleges play in not only higher education, but also the community. It is a time to raise awareness about the academic, economic and equity advantages of attending community colleges and dispel any misconceptions about them. Happy Community College Awareness Month!
