KCKCC to Modernize Employee Experience

KCKCC recognizes the need to automate more work, so employees have more time to focus on work that elevates the student’s experience. The current Ellucian Colleague service is shifting from on premises to the cloud version of Colleague, including MyDotte being upgraded to the Ellucian Experience.

Everyday tasks are soon to be simplified. With a single sign-on, employees get quick access to essential information. This modern platform puts everything at their fingertips—on one screen, with a clear view of critical information that impacts their work life.

As one of KCKCC’s strategic initiatives—to foster a culture that is committed to employee success—the kickoff of this transition happened on March 7. Colleagues heard from President Dr. Greg Mosier, Dr. Scott Balog, Executive Vice President, Bob Walker, Chief Information Officer, and Brad Parmer, Vice President Ellucian, speak on how this transformative AI technology helps employees and students seize time and be more effective. Dedicated Ellucian reps set up four exploration stations in Upper Jewell. These self-guided stations explored customization, integrations, and using AI to build automated workflows. Attendees enjoyed a catered lunch while networking and having fun at the Ellucian swag and social media station.
