What Will I Learn?
The psychology program equips students with the necessary epistemological and academic skills for enrollment in a bachelor’s program in psychology and/or the social and behavioral sciences. The coursework establishes a solid intellectual background and general understanding of psychological principles while developing critical thinking skills in understanding and appreciating behavior and mental processes.
Career Paths
Completion of this program provides immediate job options at childcare centers, psychiatric and psychologic services, etc. More employment opportunities include jobs in customer service, mental health technician, psychiatric technician, research assistant, youth counselor, mental health case manager or social services assistant.

KCKCC prides itself on having the most visible student research conference in the psychological sciences in the country amongst undergraduate students. The college also organizes high school clinics in psychological sciences as well as a fall faculty symposium in psychological sciences.
