Career Paths
Students who complete the pre-exercise associate degree program will be prepared to move on to a bachelor's program at a 4-year college/university. Possible careers that will require a bachelor’s degree include physical therapy, exercise science, exercise physiologists, fitness and wellness coordinators, and coaches.

I initially aimed for a career in athletic training, but after KCKCC, I pursued a degree in nutrition, exercise, and health sciences at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, followed by a master’s in public health. KCKCC provided a solid foundation in exercise science, which gave me a head start in my upper-level courses.
