What Will I Learn?
The mission of the engineering program is to produce graduates with the depth of knowledge in engineering to become lifelong productive members of the regional workforce and local society. Once completing the associate degree program, students will be prepared to transfer to a four-year college/university to complete a bachelor's program in engineering. Faculty members serve as advisors to students who plan to study engineering.
Career Paths
KCKCC’s program offers the beginning to a bachelor's degree that can take the student in several different directions for engineering school. The type of engineer the student wants to become will dictate their direction. Available career paths if students continue their education at a four-year college/university include mechanical, electrical, chemical, environmental, civil and biomedical engineering as well as computer/data industries.
