What Will I Learn?

The program is designed to give students an entry level understanding of hair care and design. This is a highly structured program that prepares you to take the Kansas Board of Cosmetology written and performance exam required before becoming a licensed cosmetologist.

Potential students should have good oral comprehension and expression, critical thinking skills and should look for ways to help people.

Students must have an apprentice license that you can apply for in the first week of class. To apply for this, students must have a government-issued photo identification card and a social security card (names must match on both items).
