What Will I Learn?
Practical, goal-oriented students who also have a keen attention to detail and strong communication and organization skills are best suited for this program. The program prepares graduates to start or advance their careers in the competitive world of business. Students attain a solid foundation in business knowledge, fundamental principles and professional communication skills.
Career Paths
The program prepares students to enter the workforce as executive assistants, sales representatives, office managers, customer service managers, human resources assistants, bookkeepers, marketing assistants and small business owners.
Students can also choose to pursue a higher degree by transferring to a four-year college/university.
Accreditation
The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), a globally recognized accrediting body and the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation affirms that the teaching and learning processes within the KCKCC Math, Science, Business and Technology division meets the rigorous educational standards established by the council. ACBSP is also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
