These skills include safety, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and quality control, bioreactor set up and operation, upstream and downstream bioprocessing, media preparation and scale up process, basic biochemistry techniques, aseptic techniques, mammalian cell culture techniques, microscopy and cell staining techniques, bacterial culture using bioreactor/CGQ technology, cell and molecular biology techniques, basic bioinformatics, documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintaining batch records.
Students who are interested in understanding scientific and technical concepts, keen to detail, willing to work with biomanufacturing equipment and are good problem solvers, are sure to enjoy and excel in this program.
