What Will I Learn?
This program teaches students to be non-structural and refinishing technicians using the latest I-CAR curriculum. Students learn how to disassemble and reassemble a vehicle, repair small dents, replace panels, repair plastic/fiberglass, prepare and mask vehicles for paint and mix and spray waterborne and solvent paints. In addition, students have the opportunity to become certified in steel and aluminum welding.
Students interested in pursuing this degree should be hands-on learners, team players, and have time-management skills.
Career Paths
This program prepares students to immediately start their career after graducation. Career opportunities include collision technician, refinishing technician, estimator, shop manager, detailer, paintless dent repair technician, insurance adjusters and more.
