IPEDS
The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) reporting is mandatory requirement for all institutions that participate in any federal financial assistance program authorized by Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
IPEDS is administered annually by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), a part of the Institute for Education Sciences within the United States Department of Education.
NCES is authorized by law under the Section 153 of the Education Sciences Reform Act of 2002 (P.L. 107-279). Accordingly, NCES "shall collect, report, analyze, and disseminate statistical data related to education in the United States and in other nations. KHEDS
Kansas Higher Education Statistics (KHEDS) provides fall enrollment, transfer, credentials, student success index, employment and wage, and finance data for all higher education institutions in Kansas. This includes six state universities, one municipal university, 19 community colleges, and six technical colleges.
