Hall of Fame Nominations

Nomination Instructions

Required Documents For a Complete Submission

  1. Nomination Form
  2. One-page biography of the nominee
  3. Letters of Recommendation - Provide at least two letters of recommendation (no more than three) in support of your nomination written by separate entities.

Nominations will NOT be considered until all required documents are submitted. Confirmation will be sent upon receiving documents to the email provided on the nomination form.

Nominations must be postmarked or submitted by the last business day in October.

Scanned files of the required documents will also be accepted and can be sent to foundation@kckcc.edu

All nominations are confidential.  

Nominees That Are Selected

  • Must attend the Hall of Fame Event
  • Available for pre-event head shots and a short video recording
  • Receive 2 tickets to the event (1 ticket for awardee and 1 ticket for their guest)
  • Receive personalized award during the event
  • Photo and short biography will be installed at Kansas City Kansas Community College

Nominees That Are Not Selected

  • Completed nominations will be put into the selection process for the following year, and for that year only
  • If one of the selected nominees does not accept, the committee will return to the completed nominations for possible candidate

Hall of Fame Criteria

  • Demonstrates a commitment to education and/or Kansas City Kansas Community College
  • Works to improve the quality of life in the community through their passion for education
  • Strives to increase educational opportunities for others
  • Supports significant changes that have improved the quality of education
  • Can be an individual, organization, or company from the Mid-America Region
