The KCKCC Early Childhood Education and Development (ECED) program prepares caregivers, teachers
and leaders with evidence-based knowledge, skills and attitudes to support young children in their growth
and development through Universal Design for Learning. Our ECED program is designed to inspire and
prepare students to create evidence-based all-inclusive programs that are responsive to the uniqueness
(cultural, linguistic and ability diversity) of each child, family and community. Certificate A and Certificate
B options provide a seamless career pathway to an Applied Associates degree for students as they work
or have family obligations. Courses are offered at several locations: Main Campus, the Pioneer Center
in Leavenworth, KS and area high schools. ECED courses are also available online.
