Institutional Review Board

According to College Policy 2.1 all research involving human subjects or animals at Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) must be approved by the Kansas City Kansas Community College Institutional Review Board (KCKCC IRB).

The primary purpose of the KCKCC IRB is the protection of the rights, privacy, and welfare of the students, faculty, and staff of KCKCC recruited to participate in research.

All proposals will come through the Chair of the IRB at .

A final report of all research studies approved by the KCKCC IRB will be presented to the IRB for archival purposes. Studies covering more than one calendar year may require additional status check reports. This report requirement is part of the approval process.
