You might have heard that one in five college women will be sexually as-saulted while in college. Is that accurate? Does women’s risk of sexual assault increase sharply from high school to college? Are women who attendcollege at greater risk than women who do not attend college? In this session, we will discuss “common knowledge” about sexual assault and look atwhat we can learn from research data.

Dr. Charlene Muehlenhard, Professor of Psychology and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies at the University of Kansas will be presenting.

Counseling & Advocacy Center, Women & Gender Advocacy Services is hosting the event.
