Aubryanna Derringer

Caring Instructors Lead to Success

KCKCC’s small, intimate class sizes are what attracted Aubryanna Derringer to the registered nursing program.

“KCKCC is not like a four-year university where you have enormous classes with 200-plus students,” she said. “We have small classes, and I think that really tunes into individualized learning.”

But it was not just the class size that attracted Derringer to the program. She had not only read positive reviews about KCKCC, but has known other nurses who have gone through the RN program and are now successful in their careers.

“Instructors truly want us to succeed. They care about our success and our future,” she said. “I feel like when you have really great instructors that care about you, it puts you that much more ahead in feeling prepared to go out there and be a great nurse.”
