Our History
The Intercultural Center was created following years of research and work completed by the Task Force for Intercultural Education in 1990. For Kansas City Kansas Community College our local communities represent a microcosm of our larger society. The college has a unique role to play in the enhancement of our campus and the development of student leaders. As the college’s population becomes more diverse the college must be prepared to respond to this diversity in positive ways.
Please feel welcome to stop by the Intercultural Center for complimentary beverages, good conversation, and interaction with students, faculty, staff and community members.
We are located on the Lower Level of the Jewell Building, room 2303.
