Mission and Purpose

Purchasing is a function of the Director of Purchasing and Risk Management who is under the supervision of the Vice President for Student & Administrative Services. The responsibility for all procurement negotiations has been delegated to the Vice President for Student & Administrative Services and the Director of Purchasing and Risk Management by the Board of Trustees.

Responsibility and Objectives

The function of the Director of Purchasing and Risk Management is to organize and administer centralized purchasing services for all departments of the College. In providing these services in accordance with sound business practices, the Director of Purchasing and Risk Management seeks to realize for the College the maximum value for every dollar expended.
