Borrowing

The Library exists to serve the KCKCC community. Non-KCKCC library users are welcome to use the library collection and services for study and research as time and space allow. KCKCC faculty (including retired), staff, and students are the primary clientele of the library and have the highest priority when there are conflicting needs for materials.

Fines, Fees, Limits:

Overdue notices are sent at 4 days, 14 days, and 21 days. Final bills are sent to students at 30 days and to students account in the Business Office at 60 days.

When outstanding fees accumulate to $50 or is more than 6 months past due, students will have a hold put on his/her college student record in the Admissions Office. In the case of faculty and staff, their respective Dean or Director will be notified.

Fees for lost items is the purchase price plus $10 per item processing fee.
