Borrowing
The Library exists to serve the KCKCC community. Non-KCKCC library users are welcome to use the library collection and services for study and research as time and space allow. KCKCC faculty (including retired), staff, and students are the primary clientele of the library and have the highest priority when there are conflicting needs for materials.
Faculty/staff loan periods.
- circulating books - 180 days
- reference books - do not circulate, but we can make exceptions for faculty as needed
- periodicals - do not circulate, but we can make exceptions for faculty as needed
- music CDs - 21 days (limit of 20 CDs per patron)
- cataloged VHS and DVD - 7 days - main campus
- 14 days - Leavenworth Service Center
- audiocassettes - 21 days
- microforms - do not circulate
- reserve materials
Library materials may be renewed either in person or by phone. Faculty and staff receive an overdue notice 4 days after the item is due.
